Every Time I've Hunted This Wooded Area I Find a Silver Coin!

It's been about a year since I hunted this wooded area. So far has produced at least one silver coin each trip. On my third trip I dig out one more!
It's just a merc but I'll take it! So far this wooded area has given up 5 silver coins! I literally have hundred of places to hunt that will produce,
that's why it took a year to return! Also dug up 6 wheaties and a token. This is my first silver for 2015. I have a long way to go before
I can get close to the 102 silver coins I found for 2014!

Congratulations on your first silver for the year! Mercury dime being my favorite I am very jealous! Cannot wait until the ground thaws out here in a few months! Happy Hunting!

What type of process did you use to clean up the Mercury, if you don't mind sharing ???

Just used a green scratch pad and some dish soap. Try not to scrub to hard, it might leave scratches, just use light pressure while scrubbing.

I'm right in the middle of a city with a population of 800,000! To us it's wooded! :)

Hey Cool Hand Fluke , There's no such thing as "just a merc " those pretty ladies are always a very nice find in my estimation !

Thanks Fluke! Going out on a hunt tomorrow through the woods. Hopefully I am able to administer cleaning on some silver myself.

that was one dark merc, would almost pass as a clad if you weren't paying attention
