Imagine if that was a .69 or even a .72 Ty.......Unbelievable.I've had deer just stand there after being hit by an 06,the result's were the same except the deer was pretty much intact ;D Cool Stuff

:icon_thumleft: nice vid.........just go black powder hunting an talk to other hunters very easy to ind how well the old rounds work ....not only that but you can tune your powder charges

Being hit by a Minnie was a scary thing for sure; if it hit a bone, the bone would just shatter, or splinter. Couple that with poor medical knowledge of the time, it's a wonder the death rate wasn't much higher. Just look at all the pictures of amputees from the civil war, including those struck by swords, scary!!! After any major engagement most field hospitals had mountains of limbs from all of the amputated. I remember back in the 80's I had copies of the Civil War Times, that showed photographs of these wounds, in some cases internal organs had to be removed. It is no wonder this was considered the bloodiest war.

Yeah, it might sting a little.

Its to bad people do this to other living creatures :icon_scratch: and more importantly each other. :dontknow: (stop it) >:(
