On CRH'ing days, I usually get asked several times a day, "Do you get very much out of these boxes you order???"

Oh, how they WANNNNT to know all about CRH'ing, and run their hands through all of the hundreds of silver coins they imagine are in the boxes !!

Can't you just feel the envy?

The silver is there for those that will work for it, save their money for swing, and wait for it.

My dumper slaves can be content with their salaries.

"Oh, once in a while I recoup my gas money."

Good slave. Now please lug this $1500 over to the cash counter and change the bags.
I'll be drinkin' coffee and readin' the magazines.

Keep on Rollin' !

Oooo I love the dark side of your thinking.

"Salaries"? I think that is a generous word for the people helping you (or should I say slave to you.) I think slaves that are actually paid hourly is probably a more fitting term for them.

Evil laugh....hahaahhhahaha, muaaah hahaa haa. Muaaaaahh hahaa hha

I wish I had a real balance at my dump banks so they'd treat me better. Like rerolling them all isn't enough. "Where'd you get all these?" ... 'Grandfather's attic' I say (lol). "Oh bc some people buy from one bank and sell to another, we can't accept them if so." You're a bank!!! Do your job! Shit, that's all you do at a bank, handle my money. Don't contrive of ways to turn me away or I'll lie right back. I rerolled 1000$ and I'm only givving you 400, and then I have to unwrap them in the coin counter when last week you accepted rolls from the same coin supplier. You have mountains of silver you say? You'll have to roll any bags that I intend to purchase and you love silver? Cool.

i got asked today from bank i been getting 4 boxes a week for past 2 years... teller asked do you find any thing? i said i find enough to continue...

It's arrogance like this post and the responses that make me worry about the future of CRH.

Sad.

I just think that after being told "NO !!" so many times;

Threatened with FEES

Doors slammed in our Faces

Being shorted at the coin counter again and again

Dealing with ugly-face folk who don't like putting up with us

That CRH'ers DESERVE to enjoy the fruits of their labors

Even if it IS just a momentary bit of power.

He who buys the box gets the silver.

Bank tellers do not dump our coin out of love.

Keep on Rollin' !

Agreed.

I don't think the increase in the number of similar posts and the decrease in the number of posts from the "old timers" is a coincidence.

Are the attitudes really different today than they were in the beginning? Or, is it just the names that are different?

I really wanted to know. So, I rewound to the oldest posts available. I read a bunch of the post titles on the oldest pages of the forum topic. For any that seemed to exude tude, I skimmed them and grabbed some quotes.

In no time, I found a number with pretty hostile, perhaps even arrogant, undertones. I'd wager that I could have found dozens more just as quickly.

From my cursory investigation, CRH'er declarations of entitlement are nothing new.

They live on our backs but ask them for a few hundred in quarters, you know, to do their JOB and make change, and they think they have a right to turn you down

Pffffft

Ahhh, you gotta love the tellers with attitudes! They are amazing! Next time just ask them to tell you thanks for providing them with an opportunity to have a J-O-B.

To me, that's just bad service on thier part. As a customer, you should be able to request any form of money that you want. Maybe you should call the 1-800 customer service number and give them an ear full. You may want to think about switching banks. I only have an account at one bank, but go to all different banks, and have never walked away empty handed when looking for halves. Usually they ask me how many I want.

I feel like pulling a Simon Cowell on the next rude bank teller or bank manager I might encounter. Seriously, I've been thinking of telling them straight out how rude they are and that I am going to report them. Then tell them they should be glad they have a J-O-B! If Simon can get away with blatent honesty, I think I should try that as well. I let one bank manager treat me like cr*p, but it won't happen again.

I agree with Paul.... people should be more than happy to have a job these days. Even if they may not be making much more than min wage, at least it's better than McDonalds.

It just amazes me how rude some of these tellers are and how annoyed they get when they have to do their job.

Lmao

after 2 years of dealing with a "no" we have no halves SILVER trolll ( old bitter sour pussed old biddy / senior teller type) at one bank (she just blerts out "NO HALVES" - AND WILL NOT EVEN ASK THE OTHER TELLERS , IF THEY GOT ANY -- she normally mans the drive thru window )-- I got a bit well tired of it --especially after a junior teller one day when she was off told me that she snags all the silver halves and big dollar silver coins as they come in on the spot and has done so for years. --- so I just started dumping on her -- one day --I asked got any halves == NO -- ok well you do now -- started with 460 bucks worth , next day she got 160 more -- got 620 worth now --next week she will get 350 more -- 970 not enought to reach the 1000 buck ship out amount --but enought to be a pain in the "vault" -- ($970) --run yer bony claws thru my dumps you older than dirt silver blocking crone.

may your idiot kids or grand kids bring in yer mega huge "collection" into the bank for changing out into "paper money" at face value one day -- I'm waiting

ROFL.... I read this post earlier and thought, I better stay away from this "no win response thread" But after reading this latest one GilHap- I cannot contain myself, You just made this a classic... forever engraved in my mind as the best of Tnet rants.

I think I appreciate it so much only because I am right there with you..... The one part I havent figured out though, (really, Im being serious) Is that really how the tellers/bankers feel about us? Or is that just part of the sickness-in our own minds? Do we manifest those thoughts of narcissistic darkness out of our own subconscious for some unknown reason? Is it an "uncommon" side effect of CRH'ing? Maybe it is only the extreme wacko/A+++ personalities like myself that cant help but be retardedly extreme about an otherwise healthy hobby? :help:

For as much enjoyment that I get out of CRH'ing, It is no less addicting than any of the other oomptine "addictions" I have dealt with and battled in my 29 yrs of life.

Oh well, I needed a new hobby and Im glad it is CRH'ing, which has also led to MD'ing-got my etrac wednesday. Being a complete newbie to detecting, I put it down after an hour of "walking around with it turned on" :dontknow: to educate myself on the basics, read the manual, and learn how to be effective in the field. I think tomorrow will be my first real expirience with it. :headbang:

I started this thread and I'm glad you're laughing about it, because I intended the whole thing HUMOROUSLY.

I may tell myself that the tellers are my slaves, but what I really say to them is,

"Thank you very much for doing all of that work ! You have really helped me out ! Have a nice day !"

After all, they are human too.....I think

Keep on Rollin !
