So several weeks ago while I was digging for glass and marbles I happened to find a small thin brass peice that looked like a propeller for a toy airplane. Except there wasn't a center hole to attach it or spin it. I looked through every book I have and every website I could think of. I had no luck so I just set it aside. Today I dug up a pocket knife and started cleaning it off when I suddenly realized that it too has a propeller on it also ! At last I finally know what it went to !

Did you find which manufacturer used that shield?

I believe it may be an A. Fields & Co. brand knife. Other makers used propeller shields, but this looks the closest IMO.
