Even Strep Throat cant stop my addiction! More firsts from the cornfield

Hey guys, came down w/ strep throat and its pretty nasty, my entire neck is sore as hell and swollen, but after a good 24 hrs on antibiotics, i decided heck w/ it it was too darn nice out to not go huntin'. My son (Cjon455/JR)and I picked up a new garrett pinpointer today and what better place to break it in than our honey hole of a cornfield. dug about 6 or seven buttons, some pottery fragments and our two best for today an 1864 2 Center!! our first 2 Center ever and an 1860 indian head!, i cant find a 1900s coin at this site to save my life, but i suppose thats a good thing lol thanks for looking and HH

I had strep-throat but they misdiagnosed it a mumps (even though I told them I had it as a kid), so I didn't get any help until over a week later by then I was unable to take any medicine. I remember it well, as they asked me what cheek I want it in, that confused me a little!
Glad they sussed it right away!

Yeap, time is limited on farm land, I can see me doing it, as the biggest down side was I stunk out the whole house with my breath (from being in 1 room). Family would have loved me to get out...lol

thanks! im impressed with how nice it is compared to some of the LCs i pulled out of there. and yeah i was like "what sore throat" when i yelled YES! definately no "boom baby"
