After a long dry spell I have found some gold, 14kt at that! WOOHOO! and it's an Orange Blossom ring and if you google that it comes up with a lot of stuff, in fact everything but this ring, says the company has been in business since 1900 or so, if anyone has any idea how old this is let me know, I don't think it is very old but....?
on the inside it has "Orange Blossom" and what looks like a circle with tt or maybe it inside it, 14k and then two 11, my wife and I think the stone is a Garnet, it's kind of a pinky red color, if you have any info please pass it on, as always thank you for sharing my excitement and enjoy the pics! HH!!!

Know that dry feelin oh so well, but keep hopin it's the next signal.
Very nice ring! Congrats on a great find.

Congrats on that one :icon_thumright:
Your ring was manufactured by Traub co in Detroit. Orange Blossom was the name of their line. The company ceased to be in the 1970's. There is still a Canadian branch named 'Orange Blossom' but yours seems to be an original vintage Traub who had 'tt' for maker's mark since 1917.

that is pretty and looks to be old too. congrats on the nice find.

Isn't it just a cool feeling to find something shiny like that? the occasional silver and the even rarer gold find just throw gasoline on the fire so to speak.. the fire being the desire to pursue this hobby that is. COOL FINDS my friend!

~HAPPY HUNTING~

Ive dealt with a fair amount of gemstones - Id say its a "ruby" or the same of a dark pink sapphire.
WTG
way to pink for a garnet

Good score on the ring, Sweet

I agree with Jamesbibb. I work with many different stones. From the color and cut, I'd put my bet on ruby.

Nice find by the way.

Nice find Chuck, that's a good one. It does look old. Can't wait till I dig some gold!!

Yeah Buddy , I also concur on the ruby assessment ! While sapphires do span a wide color
spectrum, since they are both corundum , If a sapphire is that color it -is called a ruby . Argentium.

Nice 14k Ruby Ring !! :icon_thumleft: :headbang:

Keep @ it and HH !! ;D :D

nice un!!!!!!!!!! MR TUFF
