Detector(s) used
Minlabe SE, ace 250, fisher 1280x
Unless you have some law restricting the depth i can hardly belive that. I live i Europe, the machines are imported from USA, and performs as described in manual(s) or even not so good. It is true however the European market is more prone for deep seeking detectors (i.e. Pulse StarII, OKM's, BDP2010 - for home builders etc). It is possible to find stuff at depths as deep as 4m (12 feet) or more, mostly ware time constructions, i belive in USA deep targets are rather scarse. But this takes some homevork to be done, for recreational hunting any good VLF with usual range down to 0.5m does much better.

Iv heard that they are. For instance a Minlabe made for europe goes deeper than one made for the united ststes???

No, not true.

It's possible, if there are restrictions on output power in the U.S. by the F.C.C. it could be, so that the instrument in question does not interfere with telecommunications ie C.B. Radio, X-ray machines, law enforcement, micro-wave devices, power lines, etc etc. Such as the crappe' that currently is allowed to interfere with our detectors. can you imagine scrambling police communications with your 28 freq. minelab, what a hoot that would be :laughing7:.........NGE
