✅ SOLVED Estate find! Snail fossil in copper?

IMG_0826.JPGView attachment 1452083[/ATTACH]This was in a drawer at an estate sale. It looks like a snail fossil, IMG_0825.JPGpolished and set in what appears to be copper. Anyone have an idea or identification? Don't have a clue as to where it came from. Thanks in advance.IMG_0825.JPG

That's cool!! Is that a chain loop/eye on the end? Looks like an ammonite made into a charm.

Do a Google search on ammonite copper pendant. There are loads of them.... Who knew? Not me...

Don't know if it is a true fossil in Copper but it is nice! I have an Ammonite Shell that is fossilized and is on a Fool's Gold (Pyrite) specimen that I picked up at an Auction.
