Strange, some better pictures would help try holding your camera back some. I see no reeded edges Maybe its a wrong planchet or something. If its not counterfeit, am sure it is worth some money!

Either Someone Tapped the Edge with a spoon, as to start making a ring out of it,

Or it is an Error.

? I would believe an error quicker IF it had the reeded edge.

My cousin took a penny and tapped on the edge of it with a hammer turning it on a regular basis and managed to shrink it to the size of a thee cent coin. The edge flattened out and the image of Lincoln and the memorial shrank proportionately. I'll look for my example and post it sometime soon. It looks like someone might have started doing the same thing with your coin.

thanks ill try an get some better pics yes the edge is smooth. but as you see in the first pic it looks like the clad an the copper are glued togather but there not its one coin.
