Don't think you'll need a harness with this machine. The one I tested was a little nose heavy but compared to some of their other machines, it's very light.

Yeah the Equinox is a little light, I need the harness for my CTX w/17 in coil. It gets a little heavy after a couple hours of swinging it in the field.
