Some may have read i lost my Xcal coil cover yesterday and had to contact ML. Well the next day.... i get an Email that they are sending me one... thank you very much ML. I also asked about alternatives if i should have to buy one with bed liner spray or epoxy voiding my warranty. Initially i got a no problem .... then i received a second Email that said:

Upon further consultation the bedliner spray is a no no, however marine epoxy is a go. Hope this helps again.

Soooo if you have a warranty i wouldnt recommend using the bed liner spray thou i got no explanation as to why. Im assuming because some have metal flakes that could affect the way it reacts.... especially in PP. At least this cleared up a question i personally had.

the bedliner spray has chemicals that will break down the epoxy on the bottom of the coil

been using the marine grade loctite since 2004

very hard to beat it for beach and water hunting.

i use two coats and then sometimes i have to go over a few spot of wear, it is good that way and u can see where u actually rub it the most.

i do not own 1 single coil with out it.

jmho....
