I found this item in the yard of a house circa 1903. It measures 2 in. x 2 1/8 in. It is thick and heavy , made of cast alloy with a copper skin on the front. It has a lot of intricut detail. On the left is a woman standing next to a round dining table and a china cabinet on the right side. My camera sux so i dampened it a bit to photo the detail. My cam has no macro setting and no flower icon ,,,,only 1x and 2x zoom. The pic was taken with 2x zoom thru a magnifying glass ,,,,best i can do. I think this may be some kind of engraving or printing plate...any ideas? On the back, it looks as if it's made to slide onto a channel or flat piece of metal.
Thanx and HH.

Some sort of printing plate. Hard to say just what for. But you can see the similarities.
