Hello. I need help identifying a goldish colored coin dated 1944. I'm sorry I can't produce a pic but my scanner is down. The overall size is that of a Roosevelt dime. The front where the date is has United States of America below the rim with a small eagle, wings spread open like its sunning, standing on a shield with an oval center. The reverse has Ten Centavos on the upper part of the coin near the rim while the bottom has a 9 letter word beginning with P or F. The picture is that of a woman standing. She appears to have something like a spoon in hear hand and she is using it to stir something in a kettle or cauldron. There appears there might be a mountain or something in the far backround. If anyone has any leads that would be great.
Also where can someone in the Maine, NH, MA area go to have coins graded? Is it all done via mail now? Thanks in advance to everone who replies to this
