Hi, and thanks for the help!

I found this in an old park a few days ago. It was found with my last post http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/today-s-finds/347422-personal-banner-day-so-psyked.html

This place dates back to the early 1800's, German community.

My research so far has turned up similar items but nothing identical. Maybe you can help? Possibly even some of you over the pond! Iv'e done the best I can to bring out the detail and even traced over what I can see for sure. it is 25MM or 1 inch in size and nonferrous.

Thanks So Much!

Thank you... I found who and what it represents but still looking for what it is and possibly a year. I have found similar items but no match.

Was used as a souvenir. Maybe worn around the neck but the hole was made by someone at the time for that purpose.

1761... I'll take that! Thank you Bryan... As the story goes it was a German community. English was the second language. The town got togerther and made the first park for miles around. There was 1 English man whom was tolerated because "he knew who he was"! This very well could have been worn around his neck when he boarded the ship to the new land.

A coronation medal seems to best describe it. I couldn't find a match, but noted that the missing word on the front is Reg. (short for Regina). Somewhere on the back would likely be the date of Sept 8 1761.
