Enders....and my first brinks box!

So, once again....i went looking for the goods today..
Found a little...nothing really worth posting about...but why not?
So I headed out...went to a few surrounding towns.
Was coming up with nothing at all.
I went to a bank i know has a coin counter, and when the bags fill up, they machine roll the change (i got over $40 face value silver halves from there) and I asked for 2 rolls of quarters, and any halves they have...no halves...but on the end of one of the rolls was a 1950 washington...i was like
So After a few more banks, that only produced one 40%...i went back and asked for all the rolls he could give me, that they rolls....$200 in quarters and $60 in dimes....SKUNK

After that let down i went back home...and bought $50 worth of nickels from the bank, that has produced war nickels for a straight week....and is still doing so... I got 22 war nickels...that helped sooth the pain..

And finally....i dumped all the junk..and went to a bank I knew kept boxes of halves...
I asked for a box...The vault teller asked if i had an account...I said no...she sold them to me anyway...
First brinks box...I opened the top...and right away saw 2 40% enders....
I thought i was in for a great box.. But I only got 5 from the box...

Oh well....not too bad I dont suppose...more to the new pile!

If you are nabbing THAT many war nickels from that bank, you might as well either buy them all, or send in your family, gf, friends, etc. until they are all gone.

I myself had a '64 washington ender today. Only silver in the box.

Yeah i have gotten over 50 of them so far!
But I keep going back for more each day...and keep finding more.
I have noticed when i get more than 20, i get newer rolls...but still some rolls with that persons collection...
So each day i go get 20, or then get back and get 30 or 50....its given over a roll of war nickels so far....I'm happy with that
But i miss halves

Awesome - that 1950 ender is a pretty site! You did well with that one since silver quarters seem to be so difficult to find. Keep up the good finds!

I got another 200 worth and didn't find anything else. So I guess they are few and far between.
