Yesterday my girlfriend found this in the river, i found a horsehoe nearby, we were hunting near a water crossing. When she showed me the item it looked like an item i found at an old homesite. I believed mine to be a handle to a chest. After chipping away the rocks and buildup from her find it is the same as my old fine but slightly smaller. Its solid iron. Could it be horsetack, a wagon part, or something else? In the picture of them together hers is on the bottom.
