My feeling is that it is a toy. Most small older guns were of a derringer style. But again just speculating.
 

I broke the trigger guard, second chip with hammer. I was way too aggressive. Has the weight of real gun, in not sure yet.
 

Most of those toy guns the metal would not rust like that. Idk, might be, metal on gun is hard, not like you. But still not sure.

Unlike CJ I put my LC's in a tumbler, I don't use aquarium stones, I use all my King Georges
