✅ SOLVED Emblem I.D.

Anyone recognize this stamped aluminum "day & night" emblem? It measures 2X2" and has some pale green paint inside the grooves. The back side attaches by two bend-over tabs. There seems to be some residual glue or double sided sponge tape on the back too. Maybe off an air conditioner? Fan? Other appliance of some sort? Radio? Found at the beach about 16" down in some hard packed sand. Not valuable, but, an oddity to find at the beach. Google brings up tons of hits for day & night, so, not worth the time for me to search more than I have already. Hopefully, someone will recognize it easily.

Something about the look of it makes me think 1970's era.... Maybe off of a purse?

Actually, all the letters are lower case. Looks like Bramblefind I.D.'d it and Jewelerguy confirmed with a nice photo. Good job guys! Odd item to find at the beach, but, I call this one solved.
