Good question, the numberals do seem to be copying old Indian style. Obviously it would be a more modern interruption of a temple token (assuming its correct). The search continues....

I think it's a meditation token probably with an Indian source or copy of an Indian design. They all appear very similar, yet different. I think the writing is Sanskrit.

good idea, the piece seems to look better that way up, & if you study the boxes they have the same numerals in them (if thats what they are) & same letters on the top
