very nice finds

I also found my 3rd, 4th and 5th ring, an ear ring and something from a bracelet? It may be silver but the middle silver ring is sterling ( my first sliver ring! ) golden ring says "India" on the inside but is not gold but looks like it. The old steel ring looks like a "Mood Ring" from the 1970's. Wheat Pennies are 1954 D and 1944. Canadian's are 1961 and 1963. Can't believe I haven't found anything older in coin and no silver coin at that. I wonder if they are deeper or someone at one time went over it. Have found many, many coins from the 50's onward except for the one 1944 wheat.

yeah you would think there would be some older coins it definitley warrants some further investigations

Nice looking sliver ring Dan , Congrats. Can't help but like the wheat pennies. Good Hunting....

Keep searching, they're down there. Take your time as it sounds like a good area. Grid the area and do sections at a time. Being a school now, it probably has been hunted but if you take your time you'll find some good stuff-maybe not alot of it but some none-the-less. Good luck. BTW nice ornate silver ring, someone must have cleaned and polished it up real good for ya :laughing7:

I like the little sterling ring! Congrats!

I wonder if they are deeper or someone at one time went over it.

Likely. Try digging everything in an area, and see if anything turns up deeper or masked by junk.

Congrats on the Silver and Wheats - WTG!
