Has anyone ever used the process of Electrolysis for cleaning a coin? I used this technique on some badly worn junk Roman coins I received a couple of years ago and it really worked wonders on a couple of them. While it didn't perform phenomenal results on the two coins, it did clear them up enough for me to make out more detail on the coins. Try the technique on a badly worn modern coin and see the results, it is amazing.
