✅ SOLVED Electrical plate?

I found this about 5 inches down in a hundred year old park. It's copper and about 4 inches by 3 inches. I realize it's junk, but I was just curious if anyone knows what it once was a part of.

It is the back of a clock, evidenced by the F/S speed adjustment markings
So I would guess the ST mark to be Seth Thomas. And likely a mantle clock.
