Eldys Double Waterproof Percussion Cap (circa 1850's )

I found this while beach diving this morning. Eldys Double Waterproof Percussion Cap. I think it is the top or cap to a small tin used to carry percussions caps. Not sure of the age but after a quick search on google Im thinking 1850's?

If anyone has info I would appreciate it.
