This one was given to me today, by a close friend.
This was in his dad’s collection, dad passed about 6yrs ago.
Likely found in s.e. Minnesota... I knew dad well, we would talk artifacts for hours.
A great gift.. I think dad, wanted me to have it. 29BB4799-CB1A-4291-8ED4-83025B4D9E1C.jpeg2F395093-7211-411C-AD19-7E2E6795AFDC.jpeg75CFE54B-069D-41F6-9679-80C27543DB95.jpegC2AFE783-66F6-47E3-95E2-2824982F5F1A.jpegC91E4E2A-3737-46EC-9019-64A00B38C451.jpeg27BD6C16-7B2D-4682-B30A-CBACA77A378B.jpeg72855F74-B05B-41CD-8CE6-E6CE3F5A2843.jpeg45C56B14-99AE-4331-BB4B-F8F8F4741361.jpeg

Very nice and treasure the memories

Nice pipestone material, usually found in SE Minnesota too. Nice for him to give to you, it has memories you will carry for a lifetime.

That's an awesome gift. Looks like the shaping was well underway but the final shape & polish wasn't done. It shows the way a lot of softer stones were worked, incised lines. No grinding wheels or dremel tools back in the day.
