Yeah I thought that was strange that the Franklin Mint is trying to sell commerative coins for this. I haven't made it over to the museum yet. MichaelB...have you been over there?

Yes, it is in the old Post Office in Grand Bay, AL just off Hwy 90. The last time I went by they were cataloging some coins. It is very small but they were super nice. They showed me a clump of coins they were working on. The cannon is in a tank right as you walk in. Again it is very small. The lobby of the old post office was maybe 20 x 30. You will miss it if you blink.

Whoa I didn't realize it was out in Grand Bay....I was thinking Bayou la Batre for some reason. I may drop by there when we take the kids over to the New Orleans aquarium.
