This is a report on a new museum the name is Born cc I worked on the excavation of this Museum, that opened in the city of Barcelona ... drilled a few years ago the floor of a 19th century market in this city and found a whole neighborhood of the middle ages to 18th century .... everything was like at the time of collapse .. this neighborhood had been demolished to build a Spanish fort and then a market .... Here the house and the Medieval streets and also an exhibition on the same site made with 2500 findings from the same place ... also here's the 17% of the city of Barcelona in 15th to 18th century who remained buried and frozen in the time of the History of Spain ..in changing dynasty of the emperors of the Austrias by Borbones . . Borbones did not like to the politicians of the city of Barcelona and decided to make war on the troops of King Philip V .... then the King destroy this area of city to build a fortress and imprisoned insurgents .... not necessary to know the History or be a side or the other ... just contemplate this fabulous museum,,, is considered the largest reservoir and best preserved in Europe in its field ... also found part of a Roman cemetery and stuff .. but we have another museum with Roman remains in this city .... to me what I liked most were the findings cabinets full of metal, glass, bone, stone and more than 2,500 ceramic pieces found in this museum.

sorry for my bad English!

All you have to do is go to school and become one of them... archaeologists.

HISPAN- Nice dig and artifact displays, but what does it have to do with garage sale finds?

I took off hitchhiking in 1975. Found a career in mining and have been employed in that biz for 35+ years now. So much travel in that industry and I sure do enjoy that. I've see my wife maybe 30% of our 25+ year marriage and she can't travel worth a crud. I think its me being gone she likes. They say its never to late to go back to school. How a bout say, school cost a boat load of money and is it worth it just to do what you like. I think maybe at this age I'll go on one of those archaeological vacation digs. I've looked in to them, so with retirement closer now, maybe I'll just go on a trip like that some time after I give up on the life of work. The only thing I'd have as a problem with in being an achaeologist is I still hold to the finders keepers theology. I guess HIPAN has that for garage sale items in Spain? It is after all old used stuff that the original owners didn't want anymore. I'd take it!

I was wrong ... I wanted to publish elsewhere in treasurenet. ::)
