I'm having my wisdom teeth out, all four of 'em, on the 7th, and I'm getting general anesthesia. There will be a few days afterwards when I'm going to want to rest, and in preparation, I ordered 8 boxes from Wachovia, four of pennies and four of nickels. It's my incentive for getting this procedure done, which I've been putting off since 2000; I won't open any rolls until those teeth are out.

The boxes were all printed with the Brinks name and logo. The coins were all of mixed age, wrapped in clear plastic. They let me use their cart to wheel them out to my car. As I left the bank, I noticed a Loomis armored truck parked outside. I thought my boxes were Brinks. Now I'm confused!

I also picked up one roll of Madison dollars and one roll of Monroe dollars.

Sorting reports pending...

Good luck with your extractions and your coins. I am having one pulled on Monday.

Take care

Dont forget to put them under your pillow! The tooth fairy might come visit.... :) Haha

The last pair of boxes yields a pre-41 wheat cent and a '45 war nickel. What a long sort it's been, but that's what I've come to expect by doing year/mintmark tallies as I go. If I make any pretty graphs from the stats I gathered, I'll let this board know.

wheat pennies:
1x 1936
2x 1944
1x 1945
1x 1946
1x 1952-D
1x 1954

nickels:
1x 1940
1x 1940-S (new)
2x 1941
1x 1945-P (yay!)
1x 1946

Remember, kids, it doesn't count unless you have photos. Here's the pile of keepers:
