There are other options... You can hunt public beaches up and down the west coast of FL for the most part. Some of the county beaches are off limits, but many are OK. Just ask the Rangers at the various county parks, Usually not a problem as many of the Rangers have metal detectors too..

Egmont Key is off limits .Dry and wet.I have been wanting to hunt it to for a very long time.But it's a great place to party.Lol
