It does have that ground stone look to it but I personally don’t recognize it as a tool. Is it something that would fit easily in your hand? Is there pitting on either end?

It fits so perfect in the hand in a hammer position and there's some pitting and damage, its incredibly hard. My friends and I have joked that it was a dragon egg. One friend thinks it was dropped from high points to hunt game in the steep Glenn and canyons.

Sorry, looks natural, not seeing signs of being used for pecking or hammering in pictures posted.

Nature can smooth in curves but rarely in linear flat surfaces. Rocks can end up almost perfectly round.

Your very first photo shows a tiny bit of wear. I’d say it’s a lightly used Mano.
