Just found this in a cut in the st.louis area At a site where people have been hunting for the last 25 years. This site has had lots of Etleys found on it. They just started to scrape dirt for a new development. The site will be gone in a couple weeks total bummer. Anyways I was hunting the site after the workers left. This is a point I found in a cut about 2 1/2 foot deep. My buddy seems to think it is a Eden. The tip is broke. It has parallel flaking’ median ridge . I would love to know what everybody else thinks. Thanks for any info Catfish jim EF07496D-C1BD-4BE2-8D1C-4CCF7FB4D267.jpeg27CEA9DA-76ED-445F-B0A3-3720D8595789.jpeg7B049D39-2A9C-481E-930E-3BEAE00A72AF.jpegE72CA566-0E2A-4A97-821D-43472F2B3719.jpeg3715D679-D7C7-45CC-AE84-EEB6E705216E.jpeg88852036-F0B0-4F95-AFB7-81C6DFA0E7B4.jpeg7B049D39-2A9C-481E-930E-3BEAE00A72AF.jpeg3715D679-D7C7-45CC-AE84-EEB6E705216E.jpeg88852036-F0B0-4F95-AFB7-81C6DFA0E7B4.jpeg73F2CB1A-EF12-4949-AAC7-59B5C0D70878.jpg46B10316-E9DF-4662-B667-E2B9135CE21E.jpeg

Nice one! To bad about the site being lost.

the base doesn’t look like anything I’ve seen on an Eden.

Beautiful material and nicely made.

Can't tell the size though.

3 inches?

Great find.

Hello - fellow St Louis hunter here. I don't believe that's Eden related. Much more likely it's tied into the Etley complex stuff you're finding. Excellent find - congrats. Would love to see the Etley's you're finding as well.

Fellow STL hunter here too. Great piece, could be a square knife? hard telling by the break but the one side looks blunted and worked that way.
