Eclipse Coil 950 or 5.3 for beach

Hey guys heading to the Beach with my MXT was wondering which coil would be best also any pointers on beach searching thanks

The 950 concentric coil works best on a saltwater beach with the MX Sport. There is no equivalent 5.3 coil for the MXS. I like to hunt the swimming areas at low tide. It's easier to recover targets and you don't need a waterproof detector. Hope this is somewhat helpful. Tt

I would stay more in the wet sand (which is the bottom of the swimming area during high tide). Hunt the wet sand along the beach re-balancing only when the machine seems unstable or when entering the dry sand. Tt

You will want coverage on the beach also. Go with the 950. Or maybe even the 12 inch if you have one. I dont know how that one will work on the beach though.

950 is my biggest I have and the 5.3 I figured it was kinda small to cover much area
