Recently put a lowball bid on a single 1964 Rosie on ebay...really didn't expect to win it, but was surprised I snagged it for $1.25...free shipping...then I saw it was coming from Sri Lanka! I have no idea how they can do that without losing their a**, and actually expected the sale to be cancelled. Received a message a few days later that it had shipped...haven't received it yet, but has anyone out there put a ridiculously lowball bid on an item and was surprised to win it? I know I can stroll into Heritage Trading and buy all the silver dimes I want for $1.20 each or so depending on current prices, but it is fun...Thx, Ddf.

Hell. You can probably buy dinner for two for $1.25 in Sri Lanka.

Coming via container ship. Be here in October.

A couple years ago, I bought a $100 star note for $99 with free shipping.

I've sold stuff with free shipping, or miscalculated , that cost me more to ship than the sale! :BangHead: I learned a lesson real fast!

Or may come in as a nice Christmas gift, a little bit later.

I bought an RV for 1.25 ounces of gold coins. I had to have the tranny re-done but hey, we both went away happy. ╦╦Ç
