Hello everyone

I am getting retired from the military and would like to know where I can go to do some detecting on a Tx beach without having to get a permit? I have been looking for awhile now but all the info I get isnt clear on where to go, any help would be better than spending hours on the E-net looking at dozens of sites PLUS the wife is getting upset that I hog the computer for most of the night.

Welcome from Spring TX. No permits required on Texas coastal beaches, but the National Seashore Area south of Corpus Christi and the small State Park area in Galveston are off limits. S Padre, Galveston and Surfside and parts of Corpus Christi all have beaches available for detecting.
