Take a glass bowl or plate and cover it with tin foil. Lay your coins out on the tin foil. Cover the coins with baking soda. Microwave water to boiling.
SLOWLY pour the water into the bowl, not pushing the baking soda off the coins. Let it sit till water is room temp.
Take one coin out at a time and gently rub under cool running water-unless the coin is too far gone, they will look almost new!
And no scratch marks if you rub gently with your forefinger and thumb-
Repeat if you think necessary!
