Here are two photos of some random blades (including a Poplar Island/Schuylkil blade approximately 6" long) typical of Central, Eastern and Southeastern PA. The Onondaga Susquehanna is from Deerfield, Mass., and the ironstone Morrow Mountain is from NJ. Again, these mostly come from old to very old PA collections, including the Robert Messinger collection.

Hope you enjoy them.

Thanks so much for the comments gang. I agree with you, Rock, that the two bifurcates are Lecroys. Both are made from flakes of high grade flint. Where I live along the Brandywine, they are mostly made from jasper and quartz, with some chalcedonny examples as well. A little north, they seem to be predominantly jasper and black chalcedonny-like stuff we used to call "basanite."

Kindest regards,

Monty

Great examples of some classic Northeastern styles. Love the 2nd frame, the broad points and the Orients, but they're all nice. Thanks for the look.
