The below pics are the finds since June 22
1879 Morgan Dollar
1880 Morgan Dollar
1898 Morgan Dollar
1907 Barber Half Dollar
1892 Barber Quarter
1902 Indian Head Penny
Today's find is the half dollar. The real story is the fact that my boyfriend woke me up in the middle of the night telling me about a dream he had in which he could see the year 1877 or 1879 he wasn't sure which. Yesterday we went out and about 2 blocks away from where we found dollar number 2 and the quarter, my third girl crawled out of the ground. I honestly couldn't believe it. I spent a rather long time making accusations and questioning his integrity. LOL. We are by no means rich and cannot afford to buy these types of things. I'm still not so sure, but I'll take it. It was located in a lot where an old house had burnt down, there was a ginormous tree, which oddly is still living although one side of it is burnt. The small gun and the strange buckle were both in the same yard, which also ran along the railroad tracks.
As for the half, We went to a different little town where they have turned the old high school into a community center. The streets are still red brick and the sidewalks are still mostly made up of the rough concrete without rebar, but a few places had been replaced. The half was next to one of these... there was A LOTTT of interference from the rebar, but this little ace 250 seems to find coins that way pretty often. My first half was right next to a city water valve.
The Indian head is from his first time out alone, while I was working... sigh.
The monogrammed tag was found with the quarter and dollar number two.
