Hey Guys, I found this last night. What better than an early firearm to make for a good hunt! I used to have a replica 38 Cal. colt navy revolver that I would shoot from time to time. This is similar with a shorter barrel obviously and poss. smaller caliber. The barrel is held to the rest of the gun with a wedge. Gonna go back later to search for the rest of it. I can see where the wedge would have been. I'm loading pics before and after scrubbing. Any thoughts? Good Hunting!

Mine too. The stories they could tell. I'm satisfied that I can tell the type of pistol it was and how it loaded. I put it on here with the measurements, thinking by chance someone might have some more info on the type of pistol it was.
