Early morning hunt

Ring turned out to be junk. Tried early am low tide but was too late. Got approached by a bum who wouldn't leave me alone kept following me no one around it was sketchy. Decided to wade into the water and that shook him off my tail. Not sure I want to go predawn without a self defense measure. The clad was in dry sand.

Pepper spray from Harbor Freight, $5, turn sound off on one side of headphones so you can hear people coming near you, and keep looking around.

My scoop is a valuable tool, wouldn't want to scratch it. I can buy many life time supply's of pepper spray over the cost of my scoop.
