Hi folks, I got up before daylight to hit up a city sidewalk that I had done back in June that I got a couple of IH's, wheaties and two dateless Liberty Standing quarters from. I had seen that they're finally preparing it for cementing and they had scraped the 10ft wide grass area between the walk and the curb so I knew that I had to get there right away.
It was really tough digging for the most part with clay and stone but fortunately with the rain these past few days I managed to come out pretty good. Picked out a hand full of wheaties again, a 1962 Canadain Nickel and I kept thinking that I hope I find silver. Bang! I hit a 1902 Barber Dime, after awhile I was wondering why it's so hard to find nickels, Bang! I got my 1st Buffalo Nickel. I'm thinking to myself "this is cool!". I finished up hitting the inside edge of the walk and picked up a 1907 IH to finish up my morning.
I just love those sidewalk contructions!
