Early militia button?

Found this today here in central MA,looks to be a militia button as far as I can tell but no idea what time frame that would be,any info greatly appreciated,measures about 3/4 inch across

Looks like a militia button, circa 1800-1820. Though I would probably but it during the War of 1812 era.

Hi; I believe it is an 1812 Federal Eagle button in XF Condition. Do NOT clean it. It is in a beautiful State of Preservation already ok. PM Iron Man $ CRUSADER. They will nail it for you ok. PEACE:RONB
