oops again. ;D Added a penny for size comparison also.Looks like it say's Orange and rich but also has some lettering that is obscured by the solder.Thanks y'all.

Relax KS! We can't be here 24 hours a day!

It looks like at least it says "Rich Orange" on the back - thats a quality mark referencing the gilting or color of the button... early to mid 1800s. Civilian button. She's in nice shape too... well done. :)

:D Thanks Jim. Yeah I know....i like to be out hunting at least 23 hours a day. ;D
