Some really neat finds today.

Went metal detecting at an early English settler site(early 1800s) in north Georgia.

Horse bit
Beautiful stirrup
Hand forged chain and hook(found with hook in the chain)
Buckle

Need help identifying the top piece. It's long. Has a hole at the top.

Congrats on all your recoveries! It sure has most of the characteristics of a file but i don't see the teeth of a file on the front. Their are specialty files with only teeth on one side maybe check the other side for teeth or flip it over and show us another picture!
