I just had to buy it :icon_thumright:! It looks like it's from about 1919 - early 1920's . Not sure what it is , any ideas ? It has 32 pages , lots of pictures of Cadillac and lots of motor and other info .
Thanks
Glen

It looks like a dealer brochure concerning the history of the brand and showcasing the newest models.

I believe the example in the ebay ad is a reprinted version of the original.

The copy that pl8man has appears to be an original.

I would guess a that the original dates between 1909 and 1915, but again, it is just a guess.

It is a fascinating piece. Most people don't know that Henry Leland created Cadillac with the tooling, equipment and building after Henry Ford's second attempt at being in the car manufacturing business failed. As most know, the car company was named after Cadillac, the founder of Detroit.

Another tidbit of trivia is that Henry Leland later founded another car company, which he named Lincoln, after the 16th president of the US. Lincoln was later bought by Henry Ford, and became a top selling brand.
