Not many people would argue if you said this coin was from the
Almohad Caliphate in Spain and Northern Africa, anonymous, AR square dirham, c. 1163–1269 AD (558–668 AH), without mint name. Obv: “No God except Allah / It's all for God / No power except God”. Rev: “God is our Lord / Mohammed is our messenger / The Mahdi is before us”.

I always like your input !! Thanks !
Apparently "ALLAH" was not able to keep them in Spain, as the last Moorish stronghold fell to to Ferdinand & Isabella
In 1492, same year Columbus sailed to America !

I will tell you that while in Spain I dug on two different occasions Arabic GOLD coins, once in the countryside and once on the beach, Both coins are gone now, (traded and sold) just a memory now but they were the ONLY gold coins I found in Spain in all the years I hunted..
No Roman Gold, No Spanish Gold... accept for the jewelry dug on the beach...
All writing no pictures.. they believed that if you put a picture of someone on something it would damn their soul or something....
Probably something similar to this..
