Hmmmm, I posted this once and it disappeared? So, went to the lake beach this morning and did about three hours. Arrived right at sunrise and saw a beautiful one! Looked like the sun came up right out of the water! I worked the beach area that I had worked once before for about three hours with my GTI 2500 and my 10 1/2" coil just to see how it would do. It worked fine and was as easy to pinpoint as the smaller stock coil. Garrett has their pinpointing down pat on these top machines! Although I didn't fnd much I had a good time, enjoyed the solitude and got to work at my own slow pace. I found a silver toe ring , a costume jewelry ring and $0.42! Hardly thrilling, but worth the trip.....at least I think so! I thought the toe ring was plate until I cleaned all the tarnish off and it was clearly marked 925. A pleasant surprise. Monty
