Early a.m.'s in Colorado

My favorite time of the day up here. A little cool up on the divide this a.m.; 15 degrees and windy. Camped over near Montezuma Thursday night and got enough snow to collapse my tent. Shoulda went with the lean-to, as you can angle it to where snow slides right off.

I always look forward to your pics Rginn. I have had a few morns when I'd wake up with the tent colapsed on me with the weight of the snow. one time the dog woke me cuz he couldn't move out from under it. that is a fond memory. he was so happy to get out.

15 degrees, BBBBRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Calling for chance of first frost around here tomorrow night, I am not even ready for that.

I love the mountains, and can't wait to see them again someday. Beautiful pictures.

I've told you before what a great photographer I think you are. But it's time to stop. Yesterday, here in San Antonio it was 92*, today 88*, tonight 55*(cold front) and then back to the high 80's and low in the 70's. Welcome to global warming...

Enjoy the mountains pics, and being a westerner (Carson City NV,) living in beautiful Daytona Beach FL. I sometimes long for my beloved Sierra Nevada's. I enjoy beach living, however there is something about the mountains that gets in the blood! I miss the ritual of firewood gathering in sept. and oct. and the crisp fall air! Enjoy my friend! Thanks for the pics.
