Picked this up at the community thrift store on good Friday! A Bliss machinist tool chest from the early 1900s. In really good condition. A little paint spatter that will clean off nicely.

Sale price of $9.95 + Tax

Thanks for looking!

That's a nice find!! And a helluva deal!! I've often thought of getting one like that for my coin silver collection or metal detecting finds. Great job!! ☠

Awesome score, I'd also use that for storing some of my finds

I thought of using it for something along them lines. I was thinking for the marble collection. Then again I will probably sell it and put it towards a new detector!

I would have to line those drawers with felt. One drawer for military finds, another for pocket watches and watches, another for keys/locks etc.

That's an easy $100 if you plan on selling it IMHO.

That thing is gorgeous! I'm trying to stay away from buying anything bigger than a breadbox(no more room at home), but I would not have been able to walk away from that! Good score!

It's antiques like this that I always hope to find at the thrift stores. That's a great find.

Thank all! I honestly didn't know what I had until I put it on the what is it forum. I bought it because it was a really cool box and I can't pass up a really cool box for a good price.

Thanks loco_Digger! At the moment I have another offer pending and I am not sure if I am going to take that offer.

It all depends, do you need a nice case for your finds? Is the offer $100 or better?
