Early 1800's navy button and a few mor buttons from the new site!!

Went out for a little bit this evening after work and did a slow grid at the new site I call "button hill". Found this nice early navy button. If anyone can give me more info on it that would be great. Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Thanks guys. Anyone have any better info on the button?

Your site is the bomb diggitty! Great button, you found that other "Wayne's Legion" button at the same site, right?

Awesome button! How many stars does it have? Been waiting for someone to ID it because I dug a very similar one yesterday...will post pics of mine later today. Congrats on a super cool find!

Most info I got on it was it's a navy button that pre-dates 1830's.

Yeah, pretty similar.

It has 15 stars. Let me get a newly cleaned up pic. I'm pretty sure it's 15.

15 stars

Wow, you named that hill right! Do you believe there was a camp there?

I'm thinking some sorta tailor or seamstress worked there. My cousin and I have found 165 buttons in a few hunts.

Great Navy button! It looks very similar to one I found last year. 20140912_062848.jpg

Wayda keep pulling those buttons out Matt. That artillery is a nice one!
