I had found this candle holder on an old fur traders site and only took me three separate trips to find all three parts (there is still the stub of a black candle inside). My curiosity got the best of me. It still lights. 20190312_205315.jpg

Its brass and has an iron base (may stick into the electrolysis tank and hopefully that doesn't ruin it). I know nothing about chamber sticks.

Now that's a nice relic, and nice persistence finding all the pieces.

I have a really old and rare copper ship anchor lantern that has half inch left of candle in it... and it too still lights.

Cool find BTW.

One more n a million find

Very cool save, way to stick at it to make it complete, congrats. I recovered a flintlock rifle 2 years ago at 6", only missing the wood and one brass for-arm trim, been back to find that trim many times with no success

Awesome relic recovery! :occasion14:
