Any thoughts folks? This guy can't afford the C-Batteries anymore.

You could get an M6 for about the same price with alot more coil choices, if I was even thinking about the 6T I would just get the M6 instead. That way if you ever want to upgrade to the MXT,DFX,VX3,or the V3i, you wouldn't have to buy extra coils. I know the MXT will get the really deep stuff as I can get dimes at 10"+ with the D2 coil and I've hunted with people that have the V3i and the MXT will get just as deep once you learn it well. HH

I recently purchased an Eagle Spectrum but haven't received it yet. As far as batteries, I purchased AA to C sleeves so I can use my rechargable AA's in the Spectrum. I don't know how they will work yet but will post when I get an answer. I have owned the Prizm 6T and it is a very nice detector. I however would consider the M6 as well if the weight of the detector is not an issue. The M6 is deeper and there is a better variety of coils available. The Prizm 6T with the 4X6 DD coil is a great trashy area machine but I am sure the M6 with the 4X6 would preform equally as well. If you are dry land hunting, you might want to take a look at the Coinmaster GT that Whites just came out with. It is basically a 6T without a couple of options but still offers a lot for the retail price of $399. You still get the VDI numbers, backlight, and auto tracking. Should be a big seller for Whites.
